About Us
The general purpose of this corporation is to operate a place of worship and learning, a Gurdwara, for the followers of the Sikh religion and more specifically for the advancement of Sikh religion by providing an organizational framework to strengthen the community by promoting, preaching, educating and practicing the religious tenets and beliefs of the Sikh Religion.
Sikh Gurdwara by its actions will seek to improve the moral, social well being and historical consciousness of the Sikh community, particularly the younger generation. Sikh Gurdwara will seek to embrace diversity by including people from all backgrounds irrespective of age, gender, race or ethnicity with equality for all at its core.
Sikh Gurdwara shall participate in any joint events of Sikhism and also those of non-denominational nature in keeping with good citizenship and where the local communities are the beneficiaries.
